The purpose and objectives of the Association of Consulting Archaeologists are to encourage and support the advancement of professionalism among consulting archaeologists operating within Canada. Generally, the objectives shall include, but are not limited to:
The purpose and objectives of the Association of Consulting Archaeologists are to encourage and support the advancement of professionalism among consulting archaeologists operating within Canada. Generally, the objectives shall include, but are not limited to:
- the promotion of the preservation and study of archaeological heritage resources;
- the establishment and maintenance of professionalism among consulting archaeologists;
- the promotion of information distribution of an archaeological nature to the public;
- the provision of a forum to allow the expression of concern among practicing archaeologists;
- the promotion and assistance to other organizations involved in cultural resources management.

In-person and Virtual Joint Meeting with the Ministry of Art, Culture and Status of Women (ACSW), Historical Resources Management Branch (HRMB), and the Archaeological Survey of Alberta (ASA):
- Thursday, April 23, 2026 - Westerner Park, Red Deer. 9:30 am - 3:30 pm.
- Deadline to submit inquiries: March 31st, 2026 @ 5pm.
- Deadline to RSVP: March 20th, 2026.
